
Melissa Frazier
Melissa Frazier was born in Jacksonville, Florida. She grew up primarily in Florida, Kentucky and North Carolina. In 1995, she and her family moved to Tel Aviv, Israel, where she attended high school and worked at the American Embassy. Upon her return to the U.S., she graduated from high school and enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. During her junior year of college, she worked as an intern at the House of Representatives in Washington, DC. She graduated in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. After working as a legal assistant for a year, she attended law school at the University of South Carolina.
During law school, Melissa was a member of the student editorial board for the ABA Real Property, Probate and Trust Journal and recipient of their legal writing competition award. In 1995, she worked as a family law intern with the Honorable Frank Rogers and as a law clerk with the Senate Judiciary Committee. She graduated in May 1996.
Following Melissa's graduation from law school, she joined the Law Offices of Walter J. Wylie and became a junior partner with the firm in 1999. The firm changed the name to Wylie and Frazier, PC. at that time. In 2010, she opened her current law firm, Frazier Law Firm, P.C., where she focuses in the area of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, and adoption. Melissa is a certified Family Court Mediator and she is frequently appointed by the court as a Guardian ad Litem in custody or adoption cases.
Melissa is an active member of the Horry County Family Court Advisory Committee and has been for over 10 years. She was elected to the South Carolina Bar Family Law Section Council in 2014. Melissa is also a member of the Coastal Inn of Court Pupilage and Mentoring Organization and has served on the board for the Coastal Inn. She speaks and coordinates various family law seminars including the local Family Court CLE. Melissa previously served as an officer of the Horry County Bar Association for four years.
Melissa frequently volunteers her time in the community by speaking during law week, career days and participating in job shadowing programs with the local schools. She also spent many years coaching a middle school Mock Trial team helping them compete at the state level on several occasions.

Tami spent the early part of her career as a franchisee liaison and office manager for a franchise company based in Horry County. In 2008, she completed her Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies at Horry Georgetown Technical College and has worked as a family law paralegal since that time. She has recently joined the board for the paralegal program at HGTC and looks forward to being able to work with the other board members and administrators to help the program continue to grow. Tami is honored to be a part of The Frazier Law Firm, PC and is thankful to work for such a dynamic and ethical attorney who truly cares about her clients.
